Developed by Florida State University’s Stoops Center for Communities, Families, and Children (Stoops CFC Center) through the Southeast Rural Opioid Technical Assistance Regional Center (ROTA-RC), this course is recognized as the official overdose response training standard by the Florida Department of Children and Families.

Description
In this interactive online course, you’ll learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose, how to safely administer Naloxone (Narcan), and how to respond confidently in high-stress situations. The course includes legal guidance, harm reduction education, and tools for navigating the realities of fentanyl and xylazine in your community.
